We're 5-7 with 4 games left, what do we want our team to play for?

frick the playoffs, not about that shite. We need to play for a statement to the rest of the league that this fricking Saints era isn't done. Yes we were dealt a tough hand this year, yes we possibly didn't deserve post season and did not play well enough but frick, this team ain't going away and this team isn't done. We'll have the trinity united again next season and we'll pick up where going to leave this shite off. frick poetry, frick Goodell, frick the Playoffs, frick 2012... time to start playing with an attitude again cause now there's officially no more pressure. Lets have some fun and root this team on for the longevity of this Saints era.

Are the Saints mathematically out? If not, what needs to go their way besides winning out?

Forget being the hunted. We are the hunter. Anyone who walks in this house is the hunted.

If we can't get in, just ruin the hope of others that are fighting for a wild card. That's all.

draft picks!

what ill really be rooting for the rest of this season is for our defense to work toward domination. These guys are clearly getting better almost every week. I want to see that continue, thus ending the season on a high note.

Imagine what next year holds if Spags can mold this defense in to a top 10 D, along with the return of CSP? I promise you he will have a chip on his shoulder and stomp arse all the way to the SB.

Ill say it: wait till next year!

Yeah, that too but just the idea of a non-losing or 9-7 season is a pretty big statement in and of itself. It'd be something to hang hat on.

I'm ready for war.

Would take a miracle for them to get in, but as you said this is a pride type of deal. I think I could be proud of an 8-8 season for them to be honest. They were torn apart by Goodell, giving the Falcons bragging rights for the NFC South this year. I guarantee we are fighting for the #1 seed if not for the bullshite suspensions. Finishing 9-7, and playing up to their standards would work for me.

Don't know if we can hang up there with our OL issues. Hope for the best.
I know 8-8 is like kissing your step-sister type shite but it's still non losing and could be a hat rack for the future too!!

9-7 a disappointment to some but fans of most other franchises would love to switch positions with where our team is at with personnel, cap, and returning offensive magician.

Uptick back to vying for 1st seed in the playoffs isn't far away. Fans of Iggles, Chargers, Browns, etc all are moaning having to deal with complete start overs. THAT is pain.

it would still be sweet as frick
to go to atl. and knock them out.
that's really the only reason i
want to see them make the playoffs
