I wonder if we'll see a delay in this game at some point.

I'm telling y'all this game will have a delay at some point. Maybe more than 1.

I thought the same. But the forecast says "thunderstorms". I equate lightning with thunderstorms.

Stayed in Seattle with my GF's friend's family this summer and her dad said he has seen a thunderstorm maybe a dozen times in his lifetime...FWIW

update

major downgrade from Seattle Times
60% and light rain

wind intact tho, 50mph gusts today
shaking the space needle cam

futurecast radar

detailed Seattle blog on weather related to the game
As for rain, while the heaviest rains look to be relegated to the hours before the game starts (beware, tailgaters!) it still looks like it'll be raining during the game itself, just not quite as heavily.

The map below shows expected rain accumulation between 1-4 p.m. Saturday, so forecast models predict about 0.10-0.15 inches of rain around the stadium during the game

Raining hard here so I went outside and started practicing watching TV. Fumbles the remote twice. No false recliner starts and never let the dog beat me on the edge

just in case ya missed it at the top...
His crew did Seattle@AZ and called the chickens 10 for 70yds- Best note on that is that they called 2 pass interference and 2 defensive holding calls on them, 3 in the 4th qtr
--- I like! Prolly can expect letting them play through more in the playoffs. Still, knowing this crew nailed them 4 times might reduce the muggings.

it's not McAuley's normal crew

in the playoffs... the officials are put in based on their ratings during the season... so this crew is a mishmash of guys from different crews who were rated as some of the best at their position during the season

Seattle is going to be forced to close their roof to the stadium.

not sure if you're being sarcastic or not... but Century Link Stadium does not have a roof... it's an open air stadium
