That team has rallied behind its rookie QB and is playing hard. They play good defense too.
Our offense will struggle to score and DeVito will come into the dome and embarrass DA. The boo birds will reign again for another week.

Good. We should be hoping for a good first-round pick and finding a franchise player. Not like this team is gonna beat the Cowboys, Eagles, or 49ers.

They didn't exactly set the world on fire last night. The offense didn't get going until very late. There were a lot of penalties. GB didn't play well either. If the Saints had played like the Giants last night, this board would be calling for heads to roll.

I think you're underestimating this Saints team. Danny Devito aint gonna do shite against our Elite Defense and leader Of the Defense DA. There is no shot we make this backup look anything other than a backup. The times of old where all these shite Qbs look like 5 star recruits against our Saints Defense. I don't think so buckaroo. Easy win for the Saints next weekend.

That makes no sense.
By that metric, we can't consider ourselves in any position (1st - 4th) until the season is over and we're at "the end".
You base your standing in the division (or conference) as if the season were to end today. Hence we are not in first place.
