I've gone back and forth and whether I think TE is a need in this draft. I believe it when they say they are high on Hill, but you only have two TEs on the roster. Your other TE, Ben Watson, is 34, so I believe we do take one at some point. There seems to be a pretty deep group from the 4th-7th rounds that could be taken (Kroft, Bell, Heuerman, O'Leary, so I'd expect to see one there. I wouldn't be too upset with Clive Walford in the 3rd either.

Yeah we can't roll with just two true TEs. We still have Both Austin Johnson and Lorig, but I think you'd still need at least one more guy whether it's through draft or finding someone in camp

Oh I agree I think Hill can step up big time, but you'll leave yourself too thin with just he and a 34 year old Ben Watson (who I also think can still make some plays...but he'll have to be used carefully.)

We may draft a TE but it will be a late pick I believe. Probably more likely to pick up a UDFA. JMHO

Looking at Hunter Henry Arkansas currently. Might shake out as a 3rd Rder in 2016.

With the number of pics we have there is a very good chance a TE could be picked. We know how the Saints love to get value and if for example a TE with a 2nd round grade falls to the fourth we are almost always aggressive and getting that type of guy. It all has to fall right but I think the chances are good we get one somewhere in this draft.

There are about 5 TE's with a 4th round grade. 1 or 2 could fall to our pick in the 5th. Good value for us.
