We should have traded him to them for #1 and #12. That would have been even better.

Gosh, if only we would've considered this option a few weeks ago.

Cleveland offered us the 12 for cooks?

It's a strange thing that on this board you both have people who think that #32 is way too much to give for Butler, but we could have gotten a high first round pick for Cooks. Is cooks really a lot more valuable than Butler?

You should interview for the new Saints GM next season.

One has two years on his rookie deal, the other does not. Talent-wise, it's a debate. When you have to consider cost, Cooks has significant more value.

Look at it this way- which car would you rather purchase, a 2017 Honda Accord priced at $8,000 or a 2017 Toyota Corolla priced at $21,000?

A better trade would have been Brees for the browns next 20 first round pics but I guess our FO didn't even ask? Dunderheads!

You can say it but can you produce any evidence that such a thing occurred? Do you really think they turned down an offer of 20 draft spots higher?

Post the trade value chart to back up your statement. Nobody will believe that the #12 pick is more valuable that the #32 pick. I can't do all the work for you, I have a job.

Did they, though? Did they?

Wait, the Titans offered us a draft pick plus ownership of the Eagles? Why didn't we go for that?

U and me both know u coulda got more for him and your not even a gm.. Lets be realist nobody but the patriots was interest in a top ten reciever with two years left on his rookie contract????? Are u serious???

It is not debatable that cooks is worth a high first round pick and Butler is not even worth the last pick in the first.
