We need some defenders with a mean streak

Our D has been lacking toughness for a long time. We need to find that guy that can turn that around, preferably at the linebacker position. It's not Jordan, Gallette, Lofton or Vaccaro.

This unit can't be fixed in one offseason. It will take a few years and by that time, Drew is going to be too busy planning costume parties with his softball team/family to even be a mid-tier QB.

Sadly, I agree. With Russell Wilson getting ready to make the big score, some of those defenders for Seattle will be available.

We will be in salary cap hell. We will once again have to cut key players (performing well or not) and rely on some players to restructure and/or take pay cuts just to get below the cap much less sign players to improve the team.

That makes the Byrd/Graham signings even more peculiar. That money could have been spread around to help both sides of the ball. Plus, Brees and the guards are killing us, too.
