Video of questionable roughing call.

He put his hand on the back of the helmet

And gave an extra push

Watch again

And deny that happened

Those helmet to helmet calls are utter bullshite

The rule is bullshite. But they are calling it all season against everyone. Coach your players not to do it. And players should know not to do it. Very simple.

Boger is big time Atlanta guy

Boger played quarterback at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia as a four-year starter and graduated in 1977.

wikipedia

Considering the Saints just played the Falcons and Rich McKay is the Chairman of the Competition Committee and the President and CEO of the Falcons, if CSP complained about the officiating, it reached deaf ears.

A division opponent should not have the power to assign refs and give them "points of emphasis" against an opponent.

Rich McKay has the in season power on the Competition Committee and CSP had only offseason input to suggest rule changes.

CSP probably had enough of the Falcons' Rich McKay.

There have been historical games against the Falcons with first downs by penalty huge discrepancies favoring the Falcons over the Saints and total penalties and yards.

One Falcons game had a last minute ref substitution for an ex Falcons player ref.

The stats are there. I have listed them on this board in the past.

Since Boger is from Atlanta and lives there, Rich McKay has struck again assigning someone to help Atlanta stay paced with the Saints and sticking it again to CSP for complaining about the Competition Committee.

frick you Rich McKay and your fellow Atlanta buddy Referee: #23 Jerome Boger.

Rich McKay should not be involved in any division opponent ref assignments or "points of emphasis."

Yes

I can’t understand why fans can’t comprehend this.

Fans conflate bad rules with bad calls

It looked like he had his hand on his belt as he watched the play in the end zone.
Wish someone could split screen with a time marker.

I agree

When I watched the replay it did look like the call was late

And you’re right, a split screen is necessary and timed right.

Yes

But, late flags are very common.

I get it.

I blame officiating as much as the next guy.

And officiating can blow a play

And even blow a game.

But this tin hat bullshite about the NFL officiating

Will not let us get to another SuperBowl is outrageous

The rams v Saints call was so bad that theories about fixed calls will never end. That is not the fans fault.

FTR I think that one was as corrupt as f@ck.

Yes

But this is the trap that we as Saints fans put ourselves in.

If we believe that the NFL and Goodell are out to get us

(Never let us get to another SuperBowl)

And let’s not forget

We have blown several opportunities on our own to get to the SuperBowl

But if we really believe that the NFL has a vandetta against Sean Payton

How do we as an organization

Fix that?

so far....................

i was never ok with it before but now im ok with these partisan game rigging refs being targeted and taken out of the game "by accident" so they cant change outcomes any more

they are doing the leagues bidding but if you send a few to the hospital with concussions and broken leg injuries, then i bet they think twice about calling BS made up penalties trying to rig games

The NFL is almost unwatchable. This call, which I didn’t see live, or the call against the Bears on MNF was some of the worst calls I’ve seen.

Rohan, I can agree with some things you say, and disagree with others - but the line spacing between what you are saying makes me want to throat punch you.

not really, but it drives me crazy LOL

They called one against Donald last week vs the Titans. That one looked even worse but the call came at 21-9 with 5 minutes left just not as crucial as the score saving pick yesterday. This is a mickey mouse league with no accountability. Refs doing whatever they want and however they feel at certain points in games. The NFL is not about sports and clean competition, its about entertainment and making money.

Haaaa

It’s just what I do.

I really don’t mean to annoy people with it.

I tend to text in bullet points, because I don’t like reading long paragraphs filled with words.

I guess I’m trying to get to the point.

Anyway, thank you for your kind comments
And if you don’t hit me too hard, I’ll take that throat punch!
