Can’t believe I totally forgot Bruce Arians coached QBs and was OC when Mora quit and Rick Venturi took over as interim HC.

Btw love those mid 90s home uniforms

Wayne Martin was a stud as well.

Watching this on YouTube and getting to see the old 1996 commercials as well is an added bonus.

We should have enjoyed how simple life was back then.

Damn the Saint 1996 offense does this weird thing before they snap the ball where they have a WR run along the line of scrimmage sometimes from one side to the other. Some times he starts and then reverses and goes back to where he came from.
Wonder what that’s about?

Probably just motion to see if it's man or zone.

That was the game in which Renaldo Turnbull quit at halftime and didn't return. Went to the Hi Tops bar next to the Dome to watch the 2nd half. True story

I loved Hi Tops - the last time I went there was after the playoff win vs the Rams

I found an old cassette tape and listened to it only to find it had the radio broadcast of the 1996 Saints vs Cardinals game on it. The Saints lost 28-14 and the Cardinals’ LeShon Johnson had over 200 yards rushing on 20 something carries. Archie and Jim Henderson were as bored as the fans in attendance but they didn’t have the option of leaving. The Dome was dead and the comments from a couple of particularly loud fans near the press box were clearly audible.

I would listen to Buddy D before games and Hap after the game. Brutal.

You should watch the late 80's games with the 49ers.

But with caution.

We lose them all in the last two minutes.
