Lots of BS coming from Saints camp saying they were going to try and get a 2nd pick and nothing. Today, already all the best left are going like hotcakes. Just now Michael Johnson.
So, let me tell you what we have left for the Saints folks. Here's what we will end up with:

Yes they could move up and get some picks, but to do that they'd likely have to trade off future picks. Then next year you'd be here bitching about why don't we have a second rounder.

Nothing comes for free.

1. Bad picks happen with EVERY team in the NFL
2. It shows good coaching/roster management when they swallow their pride and cut the player they traded for and drafted for a player that was an UFA.

McKenzie ran a 4.5 to Jenkins 4.6.

Okay eternal optimists. What in Jenkins gives you a warm fuzzy feeling considering we are a team that hasn't made the playoffs two years in a row? A team with hardly any picks and we aren't doin' a damn thing in round 2 or 3. Other teams like the Giants, New England etc are making moves to better their team. We aren't doin a damn thing. The fact I am a season ticket holder and PAY to watch the last two season, I think I've earned the right to bitch.

I will ask again. If you are an expert, then tell us who the Saints should have picked.

I will post it again.

Emmitt Smith ran a 4.6 too.

He can play at two positions that are important for us. Since there was no OLB out there I liked he was the best Need pick for our D.

Maybe Oher would have been better, but we do need a better D.

We don't have picks because traded the 3rd away for a probowl caliber guy.

The second is another story, but as I said nothing comes for free. If we wanted a second round pick next year we'd have to give up next year's second and another pick.

That leaves us with even fewer picks.

Other teams like the Giants, New England etc are making moves to better their team.

New England had a frickton of picks that allows them to move around.

Same for Philadelphia.

We aren't doin a damn thing.

Would you be bitching about the same thing next year if we shipped off a ton of our picks then for picks this year?

Hey douchebag, you can't read or something? I said who I would have drafted? I know you are pretty stupid, but don't tell me you can't read?I'll post it again because it was on page 2. I guess you can't add to 3 either, sad.

Tell me where everyone says him playing CB is a good pick? Almost everyone to a man said as FS this kid could be special, avg at CB. Go find a report that says hes a lock player at corner. Who would I have taken? Anyone but this kid. Hell, even Matthews would have been a better pick. At least he would come in and start over Shanle. Delmas would have been a better pick. Comes in and starts over Harper. Ayers would have been a better pick. This kid is tooo slow to play corner. M.Huff reincarnated.

ok, here is just the first report I even read, and it's from NFL.com.

JENKINS is a "Lockdown Corner"

Positives: Lockdown corner. ... Very physical at the line, has a strong punch to knock receivers off their route. ... Attacks ballcarriers behind the line, making secure tackles. ... Also willing to assist in tackles downfield or inside. ... Effective playing off receivers as he can flip open his hips and accelerate, close quickly on the ball in front of him or change direction to mirror receivers. ... Stays with even the fastest receivers down the sideline. ... Plays free safety on occasion and has all of the tools to succeed there in the NFL. ... Excellent hands for the interception, and he has the vertical to high-point the ball and strength to fight for it. ... Can make plays with the ball in his hands.

Negatives: Creates havoc on the blitz but doesn't always finish. ... Will take chances to make a play on the ball. ... Could improve his tackling in the open field -- will occasionally drop his head instead of watching what he hits. ... Inconsistent taking on and getting off receiver blocks, and will hesitate to get to ballcarriers coming into his area. ... Must prove he has the mental discipline needed to handle getting constantly challenged as a rookie after rarely being thrown at in college.

Compares To: CHARLES WOODSON, Green Bay -- With receivers the size of Brandon Marshall, Larry Fitzgerald, Terrell Owens and Randy Moss becoming more common, defensive coordinators realize the need for big, physical cornerbacks. When analyzing the talent at this position, Jenkins stands well above the rest of the class. He might not be flashy or have many interceptions, but he knows how to play and won't be a liability against the run.

yeah, I see how being a

lockdown corner
and
quote:

stands well above the rest of the class
is equivalent to an expert saying he should play FS.

I found that without doing any research. Should I go on?

now..... GET THE frick OFF OUR BOARD AND LET REAL SAINTS FANS REJOICE, YOU CRYBABY
