I thought the Bengals had a good draft, as usual.

He might be, but not imo. He has some of the best measurables, but he doesn't run great routes and he gets the drops sometimes(I read that somewhere). He might end up being the best, but he still has to work on a few things(Cleveland isn't the place to get them developed either). I'm sure he'll have some big plays though.

Or I could be wrong and he could explode on the scene from day 1.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think he has as much potential as any WR in the draft, but he's also a bit of a project to get to his ceiling. I don't think that's worth the #15 pick when talking about WR's. I think he's a good prospect...I just think the Browns overpaid.

I feel like alot of the 1st round WR's were drafted by teams that had no business drafting them.

Treadwell and Coleman went to teams with extremely questionable or nonexistent QB situations. In that sense yes it was funny watching the Browns draft a guy like Coleman.

If Dallas, GB, or Carolina drafted him at 15 it wouldn't have been funny.

Of course the teams within the top 5 of the draft to start off are going to have the best drafts. I guess I should've said drafts that were possibly attainable by the saints. Whenever you have a top 5 pick of course your drafts should look like the Jags, Titans, and Browns. The draft that Cincy had was actually possible for the saints to have if not even better.

we could've had Rankins, Thomas, Vonn Bell, Westerman in the 5th (and keeping our 2017 5th), and used a 2017 7th to trade up a few spots for vadal who fell basically because he played tackle last year instead of guard. I think Mickey's flaw when it comes to the draft is not letting it come to him. You make those trades (going back into the 2nd) when you have a 1st rd grade on someone and they slipped (which is possible for Bell). Do they not realize we were our best when our line was anchored by two of the best guards in the league? That's why I cant justify the project from Canada. Seems like that was a luxury pick that we couldn't afford to make. Every one says: " but we still had the #1 passing Offense last year" well that tends to happen when you're down the entire game, that stat is very misleading. The only way that DT pick was a good one is if he is a solid contributor this year (and he may be) because we could've gotten a good guard for the price we paid for him.
