One of the wildest and drunken Superdome crowds I have ever witnessed was at a game some remember as the helmet throwing incident of 2001. It was a Sunday night game against the Jets. Lol. Kyle Turley bodyslammed the defender and tried to rip his head off. Turkey threw his helmet across the field and made obscene gestures towards the Jets' sideline. Haha.

This! Having been to every game for the last 30 years. I had to actually stop screaming for a minute trying to figure out what the ringing was. The dome was so loud it was drowning out the ringing in my ears. On consistent noise alone, Pats game by far.

I wish the shite-talking Rex Ryan was the coach back then. Just to hear the trash he would have talked in the post game press conference.
I could see him now,

I can't believe I forgot about that game. I was there. Lol. Until then, I had never seen a head coach shake his nuts and flip off his own fans. My next favorite incident involving Ditka was when he fell face down on the turf after the Browns completed a Hail Mary to win the game. There is a picture somewhere of Ditka laying face down sprawled out on the turf. Lmfao.
