No. But I didn't want to trade for Shockey in the first place. Shockey at least has the potential for many more productive years, Gonzalez is past his prime.

If we would have drafted Olsen instead of Meacham, we wouldn't have had to trade for Shockey.

Yes. In fact, Kansas City should just throw in Bowe, too.

Yeah, but then what would we do as our #4 receiver????

It could probably still be Meachem as he'd have been cut by now from another team.

Hell I think Shockey is a good TE. Would love to have him in KC.

Another year here of riding the bike and wearing street clothes on the sidelines, you guys can have him.

Man, give shockey a break. Dude was hurt and still tried to make plays. Wait till he has a full camp in our system and gets his game back with this offense.

If he doesn't produce this season, (which I think is highly unlikely) then maybe call it in. I don't see that happening though. I feel he will have a good year. No, a great year.

I would have to agree with this.
Knowing that New Orleans have
so many passing schemes and we
don't run as many times like his
former team I think he's going
to do very well this season if he can stay healthy.

But dude can't stay healthy for one whole season. There's always something wrong with the guy.
