the only people that don't think Rodgers should be MVP is us Saints fans. Brees had a great season but the fact that Rodgers quarterbacked the #1 seed that beat the Saints is the reason he will win MVP.

did he guarantee them to win the superbowl too?

Aaron Rodgers is a deserving MVP. So is Drew Brees.

It's Rodgers, Brees and everybody else. Impossible to cry foul if Rodgers gets it.

What is tony dungy doing these days ? He is not in the NFL anymore is he ? I wonder why that is ? Don't listen to that SOB. He likes stirring up shite and then acting like he is your nicest next door neighbor. Some people like him have a mental illness. Just ignore him. He will go away.

Ah, they both have tons of reasons why each should win the MVP.
I'm curious who will win, but let's try not to blow this out of proportion.
Records trump MVP's in my opinion.
Because records can only be broken on the field, not by some talking head.

Of course there's no mention of the fact that Green Bay did not need Aaron Rodgers to win every game for them.

If this is the only criteria for MVP, give it to Manning.

We would if the award was called the Most Valuable Did Not Play Award, but this is the Most Valuable Player Award.

Brees is on his way to owning most of the records and can't win an MVP.

The Packers Defense beat the Saints. Not Rodgers.
Either Matt Flynn is an elite QB or Rodgers manages an elite team. I like Flynn, but I'm going with the second option.

The annoying thing about the Brees/Rogers MVP argument is that when the talking heads give reasons for Rogers to be MVP, it's always something Brees does every week. Last week when Rogers threw 5 touchdown passes for the first time in his career, they said that locked it in for Aaron Rogers. Um... Brees has had 3 5-touchdown games this season alone.
That's my problem with the argument for Rogers, if you're gonna praise him, praise him for something Brees hasn't already done.
