We need to trade a few people such as Ingram and Byrd. Try to get draft picks and focus on building. This team isn't really that bad but this season playoff hopes are done. Alot of simple things has cost the loses turnovers, fundamentals, key injuries, and coaching. I'm not trying to **** on the team but Saints just aren't a playoff team at this point.

Byrd, yes but tell me what running back can run behind this o line and their run blocking? The only holes are on draws and guess why that is

Good luck. Byrd's contract is awful, nobody will even give you a 7th for him.

What do you imagine we'll get for Byrd besides a ham sandwich?

The Saints put more hate in a common fans heart, than anyone in ISIS has in theirs.

No one..in the Star Wars universe could possibly be a saints fan, and not also be a sith.

I wouldn't mind trading Stephone Anthony. We should still be able to get a mid round pick for him...considering how young he is. I would think a 5th at the very least.

Byrd will be let go at the end of his year because of his contract. Plus, with his injuries, NOBODY will trade for him.

Ingram is actually a pretty good back considering what we ask him to do. We need a complimtary back like Sproles or Spiller.

Right now we need to shore up the offensive and defensive line and get some good CB depth. And we need to find a defensive leader. A Vilma type guy on the defense. Nobody on this defense has an attitude and absolute desire to lead and win. We also need a better TE.

2/3 of the team is absolutely awful.

Why do people think you can trade worthless or minimal value players to other teams?

No one wants Byrd or his contract. He has not played near a ProBowl level since being a Bill. The only deal he is getting from another team is the one he will get after we cut him.

Ingram is a good player but nothing special...other players can produce at a near equal level and will come cheaper. No team has to trade for him specifically...and we would be foolish to cut him.

The players you can trade for decent value on return are the players you don't want to give up.

If you want to think realistically about next year. Find the pieces we have that you like and think about how you can put the best team possible around those players for next year through the draft and available spending money.

There is a sliver of hope that with some starters on D returning we could get our act together.
