They are a legitimate solid football team. Fundamentally sound. Legitimate play makers. Very accurate, smart, and calm passer. Very well coached and solid in all areas of the game.

The past 5 games against the falcons, the margin of defeat has been within 8 points.

This coming road game against them is going to be a difficult challenge for the Saints.

Not saying they are better but the falcons are a club that has the makings of... oh shite, i almost said something crazy

Yeah, I am starting to think they are going to end up with the #1 seed and home field advantage for the play offs.

I'd rather them have home field then GB or NYG. We can win in Atlanta.

I've always thought they would be a good team this year...but I still think the Saints are better.

I'm not that sold. I still think we beat both the Giants and Falcons right now.

They kicked our asses up and down the field and deserved to win that game.
I am not saying we can't beat them in Atlanta next month either. A healthy and fired up Saints team can def. go in there and win that game.

Ok, I may have went a little too far with that description, but they did play better and were more physical. At times we had no answer for their passing attack.

While no doubt we should have won that game, the Falcons outplayed us for most of the game.

I would. Seems stupid for Saints fans to keep judging the Falcons on that one game. Flip that one game and they are still 6-3.

49ers game, if Clements falls down that's another L. 5-4?

They're a LUCKY team.

The officials gave them the game last night.

And, Hartley gave them the game against the Saints.

I'm not too worried about them. We'll beat them in the playoffs.

You want to play the if game on their entire schedule and do the same thing for the Saints? Those things even out IMO.

How anyone can say a 7-2 team is not a solid football team with good postseason chances is beyond me.

I think the Falcons are solid, but if you don't choose to admit that Nate Clements gave them that game then I don't know what else to tell you. Dude intercepted the ball, they had the lead, all he has to do is go down and they run out the clock. Game over.

Atlanta is solid but I'm not ready to crown them NFC champs (a la 2009 Vikings).

Let's see what they do come playoffs time.
