I think Gruden would have ran as much clock as possible. He would have also made sure that fg was done from the middle of the field.

I'd think Gruden has too much pride to coach under an imbecile like Allen. Just look at some of the QBs and coaches he lost to. He got beat by the likes of Fatt Rhule and Steve Wilks, with bums at QB like Darnold and Mayfield. Got swept by a dumbass in Todd Bowles. And now blew a 17 point lead to that thing at Green Bay they call QB Jordan Love, who is being coached by another lame duck coach.

I’m not saying Gruden is the answer, but there is a reason the “OC” of one of the better offenses for over a decade never was seriously considered for a job elsewhere. It’s because the rest of the league knew he was just a bag toter for Payton. Forget the injury. The offense was playing just as poor as they had all season BEFORE Carr was hurt

That's what I am thinking. Break him in as a oc, coming off of all the bad press he has received and then promote him to head coach at the end of the season.

This loss was not on DA
We missed a FG

If you want to complain about coaches
DA was the laziest hire in NFL history
And was recommended by another has been
Our OC didn’t want the job!
Don’t blame him.

You don't hire a new OC during a season. The best you can do is fire them and promote one of the assistants.
