I was only singles in the 2500 a piece area. Been on the list since 2008. Ill be here next spring to either gloat about how I got my tickets finally or rag on the people who all said everyone was cancelling their tickets. Either way a win for me.

you're lying to yourself if you still think the waiting list is that long.
If you attended games 10 years ago compared to know you know there is much much much much less demand. The 70k number sounds great because they dont remove people from the list but it is probably closer to 10k people that would even be interested in buying tickets right now.
for example i could have sold my Saints/Patriots tickets 7 years ago for 2.5 face value
last week i sold 2 ($395 face value each) for $450. Someone got an absolute steal, but that is the market you are dealing with.
If you attended games 10 years ago compared to know you know there is much much much much less demand. The 70k number sounds great because they dont remove people from the list but it is probably closer to 10k people that would even be interested in buying tickets right now.
