Fun fact.

Also, this was the first time the Saints have scored 3 Defensive TDs in a game in the team's history.

I just find it amazing that out of all those points the Lions scored, the defense allowed only a net of 3 pts.

also:

16 passes deflected is an NFL record. No Defense has ever done that since the stat was recorded.

that's what was amazing to me

seemed like we were tipping every single pass attempt... including the game-ending pick-6

That would be the big suck if true.

I think what's he's getting at is

Pick 6 - 7 points on the offense

punt return for TD - 7 points on the special teams

so that's 24 points the Saints D actually gave up

but then the Saints D was responsible for 21 Saints points directly (2 pick 6s & a fumble recovery for TD)

24-21 = 3

Stafford threw 3 TDs (21 points)
A'Shawn Robinson pick 6 (7 points) - not on defense
Jamal Agnew's punt return TD (7 points) - not on defense
1 FG (3 points)

Our defense scored 21 points on:

Lattimore pick 6
Cam's pick 6
Sack/fumble for TD...

The only thing they technically allowed was the 3 points by the FG. Am I wrong? I'm exhausted..
