My favorite thing is when the actual racists come out and show everyone who they really are. As if this entire board hasn’t been calling for Carmichaels head on a stick even with a 2-0 record. Also, completely ignoring how much the kicker has been called out.

To be fair I don't think you guys hate jameis because of his skin color, I just think you're glossing over some serious issues with our offense that have nothing to do with qb, and Carrs numbers prove it.

I mean this unquestionably should be the story of this game. If our OL doesn’t play a shite ton better we will continue to struggle offensively whether it’s Carr or Winston or Taysom or Haener. Unfortunately I think we’re stuck with Pete until the new coach comes in next year.

All this. Ram is getting beat now. Something is legit wrong with our coaching

And we’ve also been calling out the dumbshit playcalling.

You also seem to be glossing over plays where Winston makes rookie-level mistakes as a 9 year vet.

There’s a reason why so many people on this board knew we would likely lose the game even with a 17 point lead once they saw Winston come in. You can complain about the assumptions we keep making with Winston all you want, but he repeatedly proves those assumptions to be true. We didn’t just make all this shite up about Winston without having any evidence behind it.

This bothers me more than anything. We seem totally confused on blocking schemes. And guys who have looked like solid to good NFL lineman for years all of a sudden look inept.

That you’re a racist? I mean I guess so but that really affects you more than it does me.

Or Ram is just declining. He may be hurt or is getting more exposed.

Yea and our offense should be able to put up more points and drive the field. Zero points second half and 7 of the 17 was special teams

You won’t win too many games by consistently putting your defense back on the field. Not the defenses fault at all

Here’s how I’d sum this up. Winston didn’t do a damn thing to lose the game today. He didn’t do anything to win it either. That’s the life of a backup QB.

Ask yourself this, would you take the following stats from Winston, or any backup QB with your team up 17 in the 4th quarter:
10/16 101, No INT or TD

The answer is absolutely yes. And we lost.

BS, the defense held the opposition to less than 20 points in the NFL.

That’s one way to look at it. The other is that they gave up 17 points in one quarter. A tough PI on Taylor hurt a bunch, as did Allen’s refusal to mix up coverages against what basically is a rookie QB.

Unfortunately games aren’t won just on stats in a vacuum. He did throw some solid 50/50 balls on that last drive and let the wide receivers make plays. But he also patently choked on 3rd and short when he had miles of open grass and instead made a shite throw. He panics and makes awful decisions when they’re left up to him.

He does well when it’s a pass to the primary receiver and he doesn’t really have to make any sort of decision.

Winston has nothing to do with it. This team pissed away multiple games with leads with other qbs with Pete fricking Carmichael cocktail blocking the offense. Jameis can be a good qb with a good oc. He was when Sean was here. Pete is the constant here. He did nothing to get jameis into any type of a rhythm. At all. We went run run pass far too often because Pete is fricking retarded. We did that more than any other team last year.

By far his worst play and forgivable given its his first live action game in weeks. One fricking mistake. Sue him

Then make it easy for him, Pete Carmichael. We didn’t need him to score 17 more points. We needed a couple first downs and maybe 1 FG.

He isn’t 2011 Drew Brees, he’s a backup.

This is the problem. Even when you do acknowledge him making a mistake, you ignore all the other mistakes and treat it like an anomaly.

Primary receivers aren’t always open. We need, even a backup, to be able to read progressions and make good decisions.

This is a 9year nfl veteran. Why do we keep making excuses and need to “make it easy” for a guy who is going on a decade in the league and has a significant amount of starts?
