This is not the same Saints team

I know I've disgruntled many of you in the past but I'm gonna hit you with that real. I'm not hating on my fellow saints fans but I'm just gonna tell you what I see.
If you can't see the difference between 4-5 and 4-5 I feel bad for you. We've had a brutal schedule so far and have overcome hurdles that we haven't in the past. We went down 10-0 to the superbowl champs, it felt like it was over. They came roaring back to make enough plays to arguably win the game. 2014 and 2015 saints could not dream of that. We beat our big brother of the last 5 years, the Seahawks. We've made a lot of strides on defense. It still needs work, but it's not the historically bad unit we had in 2014 AND 2015. They generate pressure and create turnovers. Our offense can move the ball against anyone. Everyone in the nfc south lost besides the bucs today. Within the division, nothing has changed. This team has shown its resiliency and will bounce back. We can make the playoffs, and if we don't I'm pretty excited about the serious damage we can do in 2017.

I don't see the collapsing you are referring to. But alright. What was Unger supposed to do? Snap it standing up? Oh wait his head was being held under water by the broncos bully on the other side. I hardly call driving down the field with 0 timeouts against that defense and throwing a bomb over the top into tight coverage "collapsing." Our receivers (even coleman and fleener) made incredible plays all game. Thomas is a rookie and tried to do too much after the catch, but mostly got unlucky. They played their hearts out dude. I saw no collapsing today. I saw a team play a good game on both sides of the ball that got unlucky against the defending super bowl champs, only to have it ripped away from them by a bogus play.

I agree but if they lose Thursday i just don't see how you recover from it.

Yeah 4-6 is insurmountable. Just calling on all the breauxs who also feel proud of their team this year. Proud of CSP, proud of Drew, proud of all the young guys who fight til the last play. Compare that to the team that got blown out by the redskins and literally quit. I'll take this every year if I never have to see that again

That Denver team was not that great.
We will lose to Carolina and Atlanta. I don't see us going anywhere near the playoffs.
