Nope, will not happen. Will be a playmaker on the offensive side of the ball. I think they will trade down and take a WR or TE. Got to give Drew some weapons other than Jimmy. I am leaning to the TE as leverage with Jimmy in contract talks, but would prefer a WR.

yea... OP was dead wrong. If we were high on Verrett and Cooks you can keep letting teams draft and reduce what you give up. or give up nothing

I tjink that verett was the number 1 CB that we wanted but we wanted a WR more than we wanted a CB, and cooks fills the void that we had on our offense and he will play sprols roll of being our quick guy that attracts alot of attention

Yes, I admit I was wrong... The draft is very hard to predict, I think the only picks that most people agreed on was Clowney to the Texans and Robinson to the Rams... after that it was anybody's guess. You never know what teams will trade up/down, and what players the teams will ultimately take a chance on. I personally am happy with the Saints selection of Brandin Cooks, he adds another key element to the offense and will get a chance to shine with Drew as his QB. I believe Verrett was probably in the Saints' top 5, but they ultimately decided on offense with the first pick.
I think Baptiste will be a solid cornerback, maybe even better than Verrett will be. Time will tell!
