The only thing that will fix this team is a new ownership

Time for the Benson to sell this team to a young entrepreneur that will bring the necessary changes.

Benson is old man who is suffering from mild dementia, he is incapable of making the correct decisions of hiring and firing.

Few years back, it was reported that Terry Bradshaw was interested in buying the franchise.

Young entrepreneur and Terry Bradshaw don't mix. The dude isn't young at all... I love the guy but he isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed either.

Careful what you wish for, new owner could mean the team moving to another city.

Don't think NFL would let that happen

well I don't know if I agree with the specifics of your plan, but an ownership in flux is a good recipe for decades of shitty football. The longer the ownership situation is screwed up like it is, the more it hurts this team. And even if it all works out, there's no guarantee that decision-making authority won't wind up in the hands of a Dan Snyder or Jim Buss. This is the long term threat to the franchise that we really aren't talking about enough.

Why in the fricking frick are you assuming benson isn't capable of making necessary changes? Cause we're in mid season and things aren't going well? Yeah, all other owners would have fired their coach and hired jon gruden after week 3. Go sit down and never start a topic again.

It's not in flux. Tom Benson owns and runs the franchise.

Breesus, come on... the guy is ancient and not in great health. He's in control today, and I hope he lives another 20 years, but realistically, he's day-to-day.

When he goes, who knows what the hell happens.

No offense to you Tech grads, but I do not especially want my team's drafting, personnel, salary cap, and coaching decisions under the control of Terry Bradshaw

Bradshaw doesn't have anything close to the money to have control of an NFL team. At best he would be a Magic Johnson type figurehead while smarter and richer people pulled the strings.
