Yeah, he needs to retire. Even if you told me that he would put up something like 900/6 for us this season, I'm worried about his long term health and would rather he not step on the field.

Wes Welker was cleared by a concussion specialist and is able to play in 2015, but it seems that he will struggle to find work until some teams face injury issues at wide receiver. He doesn't have much left in the tank at this point and his concussion history is a huge concern for the future.

Top 20 Alltime NFL receiver

You think he's top 20 all-time?

To the OP, I hope the Saints leave him alone. I'd rather a Reggie Wayne or even James Jones vs this poor guy who might die on the field.

No problem with this as long as it's from him getting hit while catching the Superbowl winning touchdown.

huh?

What's former Brown/Bengal Greg Little up to now-a-days? He's young and has potential.

Any chance we are waiting to make a big run in FA next year? Julio Jones, Dez Bryant, A.J. Green, T.Y. Hilton, Alshon Jeffery, Demaryius Thomas, Michael Cragtree, etc.?

Relevant and didn't want to start a new topic:

Wes Welker cleared by concussion specialist

Although he remains unsigned, veteran slot receiver Wes Welker is resolved to playing football in 2015.

Welker recently told Mike Klis of KUSA in Denver that he has been cleared to continue his NFL career by one of the country's leading concussion experts, Dr. Stanley Herring of Seattle.
"I knew there were concerns out there but on top of that I wanted to know for my own peace of mind," Welker said. "If there was something wrong, I wanted to know. ... For me, everything came out all good."

Could be a good camp body. If anyone could get anything out of him, it's Drew.
