The NFL is morally bankrupt

All you can do applaud and cheer the effort of the players on your team. Assigning blame to particular players or coaches is pointless. No matter what the game plan or how well all phases of the game the Saints would have played, they were not scripted to win.
Take heart in the small victories in life. It would be nice to discuss the things the team could do to improve and to laud the progress of our young players.
The officiating has been suspect far too often since Sean Payton's suspension to chalk it up to bad luck. The last two weeks has been blatantly obvious.
I wish the team well. Don't get too down on the Saints. It is far too easy to blame the team for things that are completely out of their control.
I now understand what Jim Mora was conveying when he said, "You guys really don't know when it's good or bad, when it comes right down to it. ... And I'm promising you right now, you don't know whether it's good or bad. You really don't know, because you don't know what we're trying to do, you guys don't look at the films, you don't know what happened, you really don't know. You think you know, but you DON'T-KNOW, and you never WILL, okay?"

Its called righteous indignation. And, now, I feel sad for the players. However, the players are paid to play. Some of them know the score, but some with true heart, like Brees, never quit. Most of all, I feel sad for all the loyal Saints fans that cheer on our team each week and every season.

Still better than a bengal1982 thread.

Look this franchise has been around for 49 seasons.
How many seasons included a Division Championship and going deep into the post season? How many out of 49?
Not many.
When it comes to this sports franchise, it is ALWAYS better to temper expectations.
