Honestly, I felt the need to post here because the meltdown mode by some of you "saints fans" is beyond retarded.

The Saints, Falcons and Bucs season(s) will be determined by the next 2 weeks.
If the Saints go 2-0, they win the South.
If they go 1-1, everything is still up in the air.
If they go 0-2, they aren't winning the South and will absolutely have to fight like hell to get a WC spot.

Just wanted to point out the obvious basically - but some of y'all need to calm the F down a bit with saying the "Saints are terrible, etc"

You're right, the season depends entirely on the next 2 weeks. HUGE 2 weeks.

We played a bad game yesterday but I don't think there is anyway in hell that we will have a repeat performance like that against Tampa Bay. I know they are coming off their bye but we have been tough at home this year. Now, playing Atlanta on the road the following week after ya'll have a bye will obviously be the tougher task.

i see your sarcasm, but there isnt a truer statement made by you so far. if you believe all this, why continue your soap box rant like a free speech alley a-hole?

Because everything I've said is accurate? And it clearly gets to you so there is some extra incentive for sure.

See, now this isn't even true. Sure if they fall to 5-5 it looks bad. But say they go undefeated the rest of the way and finish 11-5 then they win the division.

The Bucs could easily finish 9-7 or 10-6. The Falcons could finish 11-5 or 10-6. The Bucs have some very tough games ahead of them.

If the Saints lose on the road to Atlanta they still have them at home later in the year. The Saints have similarly tough games ahead just like the Bucs though and would only need to finish one game ahead of them.

i don't see how we win division off to a 0-3 start and would definitely have 5 NFC losses all together.

all the scenarios regarding this team's chance to win the division or get a wild card aside: This team is not playing well in any phase with any consistency except the passing game.

If you stop that, you beat the Saints.

We better learn to run or play defense with consistency if we want to do something in January.

Yesterday looked like the Colts without Manning.

On a positive note for the Saints... my Falcons secondary is absolute garbage.

Falcons timing couldn't be any better, drew's schedule:

Bad week: Away Tampa
Great week: Home Indy
Bad week: Away Rams
Great week: Home Tampa
Bad week: Away Atlanta

If we were to go 11-5 and like you said finish 3-3 in the division with 5 nfc losses splitting the falcons series but going 0-2 to the bucs we could still win the division but would need help.

Falcons still play at Houston and if we split with them they would have 5 losses but with only 4 being to nfc opponents. We would just have to hope that they lose one more game and finish 10-6. Other than that Houston game though they have a relatively easy schedule.

The Bucs even if they sweep us they have 3 nfc losses and have to play at Atlanta, at Green Bay, and vs Houston. They could easily finish 10-6 or worse.

The only question from the above is we would have to depend on one of Titans, Vikes, Jags to beat the Falcons.
