Nice insight and write up HERE

I'm loving the evolution of the WRs. We have an over the top speed guy, a deluxe route runner, and a potential all world all everything receiver. Thomas will enter into discussion as who is best among him, Julio, OBJ, etc.

Snead is another gem of the crown of pulling players out of nowhere to be studs.

When backup is Ginn I agree

Drew is an injury away from having Coleman get starter snaps.

We may have more competition at the 4-5 position than we have had in a while. Coleman is not a lock

I could easily see Corey Fuller beating Coleman out for the 4th spot. He's actually got very good speed and could give us another deep threat alongside Ginn. Big guy too

Snead is gonna have an awesome season. Thomas and Ginn Jr are going to take some of the heat off and Snead will get open. With the help of this new run game, defenses will have a rough time with our #1 New Orleans Saints Offense. It's time for another run, baws!

lol shut up. Both of you. Comparing Thomas to Odell and Julio Jones at this point is absolutely absurd. I think he could be as good one day, but right now that's as homer as it gets. He's never done anything comparable to what Odell and Julio have in their careers so we are gonna have to wait for that to happen to say things as outlandish as OP.

After you come at me unprovoked in a number of threads, you really think I was going to let you get away with sounding like such an idiot? @blueslover

For the record, Blues never actually said that Thomas was just as good as OBJ and Julio. What he did say was that he predicts him to enter the conversation this year.

Here are some stats for comparison (Rookie years):

Julio Jones | 54 Rec | 959 Yards | 8 TDs
Michael Thomas | 92 Rec | 1137 Yards | 9 TDs
OBJ | 91 Rec | 1305 Yards | 12 TDs

So, statistically speaking, yes, Michael Thomas could enter the conversation this year.

ETA: For the record, I'm also skeptical that Thomas enters that tier of WR this year. But don't pretend like it's that absurd of a statement. If someone had said that Dural will be in the conversation, then yeah, pump the brakes.

Odell did that in like 12 games though. Easily best rookie season of all time. Thomas only comes close because he played 15 games and he's still not really close. I'd love for Thomas to enter that conversation and I think he could at some point. I was dishing out what blueslover likes to dish out for no apparent reason, so if he can't take it without his goon in shining armor maybe he should stay out of the e-streets after dark
