The lucky win in Seattle is hiding Sean Payton's stubbornness (for now)

Dude remains the most stubborn man in America.
There is zero explanation for regularly pulling the 2nd greatest quarterback in NFL history on key downs in key playoff games to use Taysom Hill as quarterback and then NEVER doing it when the 2nd greatest quarterback in NFL history is replaced by a bottom 5 QB in the league.
ZERO SENSE. Payton always tries to prove he's the brashest, smartest mind in the stadium and it backfires quite often. He's aided by the fact that our puny media market is so beholden to the almighty Saints that he is literally never asked about his idiocy in any meaningful fashion.

Downvoters can't explain why I'm wrong on this. Can't even try. So they just anonymously downvote or distract with shitty memes.
Explain why it's okay or smart to pull Drew Brees on 3rd and 4 in the red zone and then NEVER do it when Bridgewater is QB.

are you incapable of letting us enjoy a win, or do you revel in being a totally insufferable bag of dicks?

That was 5 days ago. We beat a mediocre Seattle team. I was there 50 yard line club level. Enjoyed it. Won money. But that strategy will have us 3-5 when Brees returns. 5-3 is attainable if we use Hill properly.
At the very least, stop using Hill so damn much when Brees returns if he's not even good enough to spell Teddy fricking Two Read Bridgewater.

Simple. Taysom Hill is now the #2 QB with Brees injured. CSP isn't doing it b/c he's doesn't want to be stuck with just 1 healthy QB on the roster if Taysom gets injured.
You're overthinking it.

There is no change in defensive scheme and alignment defending Bridgewater and Hill bc they both are non threats throwing the ball
You can catch the defense with extra DBs on the field with Brees under centre, perfect time to run hill down their throat

That's bullshite for several reasons, the foremost being that Hill is in on punts and racing down the field at 20 MPH trying to tackle. That's far more injury risk (with much lower return) than either slot or WR or QB.

I have come to the same conclusion despite my earlier ranting he should of played more.

I may not agree with the OP. But the backup QB take is hot garbage since taysom is still playing special teams.

He still plays, but his overall snap count has taken a huge hit. Taysom will resume his usual role after Brees is starting again.

This at least approaches a logical explanation, but I disagree adamantly with your conclusion. Hill being in the game at QB would most definitely have the defense holding the edges much, much tighter and with much more discipline, therefore opening up the middle of the field for a more productive run or pass play.

Too obvious of a troll mate

At least as far as pulling Brees anytime they’re in the redzone or any other critical point in the game. I fricking hate it. He’s been lucky to this point but it will bite him in the arse eventually.

Well I didn't think it was smart in the NFC Championship game, so I'm glad he learned from it and isn't doing it now.

Yalls lucky win over Miami after that abortion of a first half isn't hiding the fact that you've played the easiest schedule in the NFL through 3 games. Gfy guy.
