Um.

I see no outrage over Thomas having a smaller ypc than Ingram.

It's silly to expect outrage over a player who has proven himself over and over throughout the years who has one bad game, as opposed to someone who still hasn't shown anything............1st rounder, mind you. But it's obvious this coaching staff had no clue what to do with the running game yesterday. That was obvious with that 1st and goal at the 1 debacle. Ingram's 2.9 would have gotten us 6.

Well, of course.
I was overstating.

Someone needs to overstate in the other direction, for once.
You'd think Ingram was the reason we were losing according to this board.

I have been knighting for Ingram for a while. And it's not so much knighting for him, just wanting people to direct their anger in the right direction.

ETA: And then there's the Garrett Hartley haters. Christ almighty.

Definitely not on Ingram. He didn't do any more or less than what I've expected from him.

I'm not Totally Giving up on Ingram because I feel like they everytime he's in the game it's going to be a run inside. You're not going to be very successful if every time you come in the game it's the same play. Until they can start getting him involved in other ways, Ill hold judgment. But right now they surely aren't doing that.

Agree on 1 and 2.

Not 3 and 4.

As to Ingram he actually looks quicker to me now. Would like to see what he can do if/when he gets past the d-line one day.
GB did a good job shutting down PT and MI.4.

4. Paying so much money to Brees is affecting the team

Not paying him would have affected the team more.
IMO

i just don't think kromer is the right man for the job.. for those of you that have played football before, you know that you need someone to light a fire under your arse and to motivate you.. i'm just not seeing that from him...

i could be wrong, i don't know what goes on in the locker room, it just doesn't seem that way from the outside looking in

I think he was the lesser of two evils....the other being giving the interim-interim job to Carmichael or Spags and not letting them concentrate fully on their jobs. Kromer was the next best option. I don't think they ever wanted to hire outside.

While I don't think Ingram is doing well at all, in his defense, no Saints RB ran the ball well yesterday. Green Bay had every run play sniffed out from the start. Blocking may have been bad, or they were just transparent in what they were doing, but the team as a whole ran horrible. That doesn't justify his uselessness in the past, though. However, they did pass with Ingram in the game, so that was different.

I don't think people hate Ingram. They hate the high price we paid for him.

And that is fair, but that's not how people state their opinions here.

The offensive line CAN'T RUN BLOCK! With all of the talented running backs we've had, NOT ONE did anything with the Saints... They can't ALL be bad....or can they??

What other player derserves a megadeal?

Answer Jimmy Graham, and NO ONE ELSE.

The rest of the team outside thsoe two shoudl be giving money back at this point.
