I was wondering wth was wrong with everyone.
Almost everyone posting had conceded.
We looked every bit as bad against Minnesota last year and still came back only to blow it last second.. but I felt we could always get back in this.. it was so early..

We've been through this. Saints looked like shite Q1 and put themselves in a two TD hole. It's ok to criticize a shitty outing.

Agreed. Close to being 21-0. We came out of the gate with no energy. The defense did settle down

Everyone had a reason to panic. Eagles were up by two TDs and were moving the ball before the INT.

I’ll be the first to admit I was melting.

The Eagles have a good D but there were a lot of calls against us on offense that killed our mojo. And we still moved the ball fairly well. If not for losing five yards on that last run Lutz likely makes that kick to make it 23. That’s pretty good against an Eagle D that we all underestimated. They played their asses off. And they have for a while. They held LA to 23 IN LA.

This defense always starts slow. DA is brilliant at making adjustments once he sees what the offense is trying to do. The downside is when you turn it over and get in a hole like they did.
Hats off to SP for retooling and figuring out how to grind and win. His entire game plan got shot to pieces, and he responded with a brilliant, clock munching approach that kept the ball in the hands of an offense that would not be refused.
