I hate to admit this but it's pretty evident. We again have a good quarterback on a lousy team.,,

When can we start bitching about Bress' kids not going to LSU?

He may not be able to throw the ball as he once did but no pass blocking, no WRs capable of catching, and no running game are the main issues here, not Drew.

You just described the Saints during Archie's last few years -- don't forget the weak Defense, bad ownership and terrible FO.

Brees hasn't looked that sharp this season at all besides last week, but I agree for the most part.

Brees is a shell. Let's not kid ourselves.

Not saying it's not. Saying that ten other guys on the offense have to do THEIR job too.

Drew should wear #8, not #9.

Is it a coincidence that Archie Manning is from DREW, Mississippi ?

I think not.

It's been evident to me that the Saints have been a one-man team for a long time now. Drew Brees has been the only star player on the team for a long time.

Now that Drew is older and a bit banged up, the Saints truly have nothing.

This "Drew Brees era" contains a Super Bowl victory and Roger Goodell. Pretty significant differences.

I get your point, but I still disagree. Sean Payton was suspended for a full season (among other major suspensions), and the team has yet to recover from it. Pretty sure nothing even remotely close to that happened before.
