Just wanted to share a little story. My mom works with a lady in New Iberia whos 25 yr old son is very ill. As bad as things are going for him, she says all he talks about is FB, and how he can't wait for the season to start. My mom sent a letter to Metairie hoping someone would be able to send him something to keep his spirits up. They told him what she did and he was exited just at the thought that they may reply. Within a couple of days, a secretary called for my mom and left a personal #. She said she forwarded the letter to Coach, who's reply was they were very busy and wish they could more for him, but they would be thinking of him and would send him something. He just was overnighted a #26 jersey with about 40 autographs. He is headed to a hospital in Houston and made it known that it would cover his hospital gown. They definately cheered this guy up. He got the jersey less than a week after the letter was first sent. Thanks to Coach Payton, his staff, and the players for giving this kid something to cheer about.
