I just read all of the 37 football cliches in your previous post and I'm pretty sure you have never played football in your life
Lol, think what you think. I'd love for you to disagree with anything in my post or point out any cliches and tell me why. Some of us coach football. You call things cliches when in fact it's just the language of the game.
Again, I'd love to see you breakdown for me how the Saints offense isn't predicated on vertical principles and attacking the seams. Three and four verticals are by a large margin our favorite route concepts.
we were first in overall passing last year so why the hell do you think we desperately need to upgrade our WR unit
The Texans' defense was first in the NFL for the majority of the league (they might have finished that way, I don't remember), but I think it's plainly obvious they could improve elements of their defense. There's such a thing called looking past the numbers.
Our passing numbers were a result of numerous things that have nothing to do with our WR talent. First, we struggled to stop anyone and thus were in numerous shootouts. Secondly, and this isn't brought-up enough when discussing the loss of SP, we started very slow in almost every game. When we got behind we were forced to pass at an alarmy rate last year. We also have one of the more accurate QBs in a perfect system to utilize his talents.
Question for you, where would you rate our receiving unit?
