update...

The weather wasn't that bad. The overcast from the threat of rain made the heat not so bad.

My 9-year-old is very starstruck and did not lose interest at all.

There are some trees behind the bleachers (just your standard, aluminum bleacher with zero shade) where you can cool off. If you have young kids, bring a blanket and you can sit in the shade if you want to take a break from the heat.

The field goals face the bleachers so the kids gang up and can try and catch the balls. It makes for a good time for the kids.

Not many players lined up after practice to sign autographs.

Willie Snead signed the longest.

Other notables that stayed a while were Brandon Coleman (IS HUGE!!!), Adrian Peterson, Delvin Breaux.

Brandon Coleman was signing my son's hat and I asked if he also work's security. Without hesitation, he said part time. I'm sure he has a comeback for ever comment about how big he is. He was real cool.

A lot of new guys signed, AJ Klien, rookies etc...

Brees, Ingram, Michael Thomas, Cam Jordan etc... didn't come over. Word is they all usually do.

People freaked liked there was a fire when AP walked up. They rushed the fence to where AP was.

We caught Deuce to the side and he signed my son's pic of him. He was real cool, which is no shock.

they usually send over the rookies and camp bodies in the superstars' jerseys. your son won't know the difference when Ryan Nassib walks over in the #9 jersey.

Yeah but you'll be long gone by then after your son complains about it being too hot and boring.

Sounds like fun. Glad your kid had a good time.

How did they look in practice?

Mostly drills, just in helmets.

It was some fun watching WR, DBs work against each other full speed without tackling.
