We should have IR'd him after the second concussion.

I didn't realize he had two already. They shouldn't have ever let him back on the field this season.

If NFL is serious about safety, they would mandate more time off after each concussion.

Yeah, I feel bad for the kid right now. Sometimes you have to protect the players from themselves. I wonder if he had any concussion history in high school or college. 3 concussions in a span of 2 months is absolutely horrible for you. If he's had 3 or 4 other concussions throughout his football careeer, he probably needs to hang it up for the sake of his quality of life.

Seems like a great kid, hate to see it happen to a guy like that. really had potential to be a solid player for us

He needs to be shutdown, you become more susceptible to concussions after each one. If not given the proper time to recover the brain becomes more and more sensitive to impacts.

I agree. I got a mild concussion when I was younger during a boxing match. They had me checked out when I couldn't remember where I was and the Dr said take a 30 day break.. this was 1994, im still on my break.

Scary shite to not know where you are or what day it is ect

Same thing happened to me, I was playing basketball and fell down when I went to turn and went head first too the floor. Was out for a couple of minutes and spent two days in the hospital

I got one in the 11th grade after I threw a block on a punt return.

the guy I hit got hurt (probably just knocked the wind out of him) but whatever.

I don't really remember anything except people telling me to stay awake that night. I took some Advil and thought I was in the clear but at like 5 or 6pm the next night I started throwing up and feeling bad all over again. It was really weird and since it happened with only one game left in the season they told me I couldn't play the rest of the year.

I talk shite for fun about how the league is so soft nowadays but, unless you go through it, you don't understand how shitty it can be to get a concussion.

that really sucks for Swann, hope he can bounce back next year and stay healthy.

The concussion against the Giants was strange. He kind of got his legs taken out from under him and was knocked out when he hit the ground.

On this one, he couldn't walk he was so out.

I feel bad for the guy, but I think it's very reasonable to wonder whether he'll ever play again.

He seems to be in pretty good spirits overall.

I love the guy, but at this point, you can't count on him. He has lasted less than a half in his last two games, getting a concussion in both games. It is a bad beat.
