strange lighting in Dome

Is it going to be like this all year? No lights on the terrace, the field looks like it's glowing.

I wish i was in there to see it. Left Lafayette at 3. Still not there yet. There was a wreck on the interstate.

I took a pic, but it doesn't depict it correctly. The stands are dark the field seems to glow.

They changed the lighting this year to LED lights.. that's about all I got.

To me, it seemed like the lighting on the field was better...but they removed much of the lighting in the stands.
So, it had the "feel" of being dark...even though the field was extremely well lit.

It looked weird on TV too. I guess they darkened the upper level because the new screens are bright?
