Only problem I have with loading up on draft picks is we can't draft for shite early.
I don't really like this deal. Ellerbe is not that good with a bloated contract. 3rd is okay I guess.

Pants are back on after seeing his contract. I don't care if he can't stay healthy, I do care that he is still owed 3 years at 21 mil.

For Kenny Stills? 3rd is flat out fantastic. Ellerbe's contract is a hangup though. Probably the only reason we got such a high pick for Stills.

We would not have done the deal if we didn't have a new deal in place. He's not getting paid that. My guess is he's taking a MASSIVE paycut.

Again, he's not going to get paid that.
If he hasn't already taken a paycut, then my guess is that the Saints asked for him to be thrown in the deal so that they could at least negotiate with him before letting him hit FA. He can be cut with no cap hit.
