Why dont people understand that they cant use this as an argument against Bush? Dont blame Bush for the fricked up rookie pay scale the NFL 1st rounders get, blame the system. If we can somehow restructure and bring his contract down and make it performance/incentive based then why the frick not keep him?

All I know & care about right now is this season, and it appears Bush is a big part of our success & chemistry., all this trade nonsense should end...

Trade Reggie to swap picks with a team, so we can pick up a dominant DT or LB. You're welcome.

It's going to take more then just Reggie to move up in the draft. Even with a restructured contract, he isn't worth nearly enough to move up a whole lot in the draft in a swap.

Keep him. Seems now he is learning the difference between college and the NFL. Let's see what happens for the rest of the year.

I really doubt any team would trade for Reggie and his contract. If he isn't on the team next year it will be because he was cut.

I think teams would consider getting him because he would MAKE money for their team. The merchandise and ticket sales easily make much more than we pay him. Now is he worth keeping teams from signing 2 or 3 other quality players due to the cap for the production, IMHO...No.

Imagine if you were Reggie Bush and just played one of your best games in your career and helped the team win a close game to keep the Saints undefeated record going. Get home, start relaxin' get on the old computer and opens up his emails. One of his buddies sent him this thread for him to look at. Could you imagine how YOU would feel if put in the same position? I know I'd be thinking, "Man frick these fans. Go out give my all, help this team win in any way they ask, give huge amounts of money and time to rebuild this community FOR WHAT! THIS CRAP! frick it, they want me gone, no problem, I'll just demand a trade at the end of the year"!

Obviously this is far fetched, but I'm sure Reggie is like every other HUMAN BEING and doesn't appreciate being ridiculed almost every week when he goes out and plays hard and contributes to this team. Personally, I think all this "get rid of Reggie" shite is in bad taste right now. Just my opinion anyway. Flame away.

It's a shame when you consider 33 yds rushing and 46 yds receiving and two TDs "one of the best games in your career". That says a lot about how meager your career is.

What loyal fans. I'd hate to be any of your f'n friends, christ. Guy has 31 touchdowns in his 3 3/4 year career. God forbid if the kid was healthy through most of this. Yeah, he sucks.

What do fans and friends have to do with this? This is about business. This is about a player who doesn't earn his paycheck. This is about a player whose production could be replaced by a number of players in the league making 50% or less of this player's salary.

If Reggie were willing to take a huge pay cut I'd love to see him hang around. Otherwise, I'd just as soon see the Saints pick up a third down back in the 4th or 5th round of next years draft and take Reggie's salary and buy the best DE/OLB they can get.

Do you mean "without"?

The Saints didn't miss his "impact" in the Pats game. Truthfully, with the exception of two games he's been a ghost. A $60M ghost.

In three games this season he scored on plays that no one else on the team would have made . . . Miami, St. Louis and Atlanta.
