We better sniff around Smiff's cage. I know Sean Payton loves him in homoerotic ways, so it's good enough for me. If the Saints want to go all in to maximize Drew Brees' final years, let him throw to someone like Steve Smith for at least two.

This is all predicated on the assumption that Smith can stay healthy. But this guy is an animal and I have always said that I hate him because he's not on my team.

As long as he can still draw the attention of the opposing teams secondary I would be all for it. Whatever CSP thinks!

Steve Smith is a very physical wr he is something we never had at wr he could be like sporles as a wr/pr but I'll pass for some young player in da draft.

He would be so good on turf in the Dome.

You may have been able to make that argument as he was coming out of college. 182 games, 836 receptions, 12197 yards, 67 TDs later no.

Highly unlikely. He's making 3 mill off the Panthers this year regardless of where he plays. Add to that he's a 13 year vet that has never won a championship, he will be looking at contenders with good QBs.

We should, end of story.

I don't think I'd be able to get over the decade of hatred I've had for him.

You gotta be kidding. I only hated him because he wasn't on the Saints.

I'd rather a younger WR that was bigger and faster to create more separation. However, he has such a mean streak that the offense could really use.

I would love to have him for the right price. He was successful in the run happy Panthers offense, just imagine what he could do here. I think health is his biggest red flag though.

Yes I would also rather draft a future Hall of Famer and have him produce at a Steve Smith level his first year. Those are some really big expectations though.

Drafting one would work, but I wouldn't mind getting someone like Kenny Britt at the right price in FA.

No to both.
No frikken decoy but someone that the Def respects and pays attention to. Helping other Saint players get open and not get triple or double teamed. Keep the safeties from coming down the hill and respecting the long ball.
And who said MILLIONS?
Why am I explaining the obvious?

Geez.

PS
Look at gif I posted above. Thats Talib he schools as a decoy

I hated him b/c he's a POS on the field. Always acting like a bitch when someone plays D on. Fighting teammates. He could sign with the Saints and I'd still hate him
