I'm still pissed about Atlanta and Cleveland, but there's still plenty of time folks. I think many people expected us to go about 5-3 or 4-4 on the road anyway. We're just getting it out of the way early.

Its bad starting the season 0-2. Its also ok for people to not be happy about it.

Our FO gambled on our offense with letting Sproles go and trading up to get Cooks. I will admit, this looks like a pretty good decision and should give us a higher return on investment over time. We have seen the ceiling with Sproles in our offense. Luckily for us, it looks like Cooks will be available to make an immediate impact this year, which is a great sign.
The thing that boggles my mind is the complete and total emphasis being put on defense this off-season, only to come out worse than last year. We as fans are upset, and we have every right to be; who should be furious is Mickey Loomis and Benson. They have given every resource for us to be a successful franchise this year, but for various reasons and excuses, our coaching staff cannot put the pieces of the puzzle together.
Our sack attack DLine from last year got completely humiliated by some abomination of a patchwork OLine week one. PRob was allowed to walk onto this roster and has shown flashes this year, and not the type of flashes you want to see. The playcalling on defense and even on offense has been suspect at best. I want to see vast improvement game 3. All around the league you have teams doing more with less, yet we are doing less with more. This is like having your kid come home with a D grade when you know they can do better.

09 team was loaded. Fujita, Sharper, Greer, Porter, offensive line w/ Nicks/Stinky/younger Goodwin, Bush, young Devery, Heath Evans..would all beat out some guys we have on the current roster in those positions. It's not even close.

We definitely had some talent, but I could say the same thing about this team
Cam Jordan, Vaccaro, Byrd, Keenan Lewis, and Junior aren't exactly scrubs.
Jimmy Graham is a pretty major trump card at the WR/TE position to go along with Cooks and Stills. Devery would be an upgrade over Morgan, but he was our #2 receiver back then. He wouldn't be the #2 on this team
