Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ Advanced Media did not include Darren Sproles in his prediction for the Eagles' 53-man roster.
That's because he believes Sproles will be dealt during the draft. Sproles remains one of the league's top return specialists and could draw trade interest from contending teams. Shorr-Parks believes Philadelphia would be willing to part with Sproles for a fifth-round pick. The Eagles will almost certainly pursue a running back in the draft, probably in the third round. $3.5mil for the last year of his contract

gotta admit I might like that as a Should We? He was still quite dynamic last year in games I saw him. 5th with their 7th.

Oh, how bout add this to the damning evidence about Greg McMahon? In 3 years here returning punts 671yds with 8.3 yd avg, 1 TD In Philly you ask? 2 years leading the NFL in punt return yardage (952) and leading the NFL in PR TDs (4). HTF can that guy stay so long??

edit- posted that and thought we need a poll. Who is worse McMahon or Bill Johnson? I go McMahon cuz he is a STC. His lack can be seen in many ways across the STs.

McMahon is still coaching special teams, Sproles would just revert back to being ineffective. A 5th this year means getting that kicker from Florida Sate. All things considering, I'd rather have a possible reliable kicker.

they barely used him the last year he was here. I fear he'd just get like 2 touches a game.

Spiller and sproles seems redundant. Rather use the pick to take a flyer on a WR in the 5th if we take a combination of DT, pass rusher, DB, G in the first 4 rounds.

Thats like shooting fish in a barrel with my neighbor.

As to being on the team I think poll those who are there.

It IS redundant.

I have a feeling that both former Bills on our roster are going to tear shite up this season.

If by "tear shite up" you mean continue to be a drain on the salary cap while not contributing nearly what was expected, I agree.

At some point you have to accept an cut your losses. This front office has face planted time and again in free agency since 2009
