Just like LSU...you can't do things that allow the refs to decide the game.

What does this mean? Don't allow yourself to be a victim of uncalled pass interference?

Pretty much that's exactly what it means.

Yep, he means the game was ours to close just by doing what we are supposed to do but instead do the exact opposite

Year after year Payton has one of the most talented teams in the NFL, yet he fritters away that talent each and every season. He needs to be held accountable. When will people realize the 2009 Super Bowl was the exception, not the norm?

He over thinks or tries to get cute when it's not needed.

Was Brees fault. Great playcalling by Payton

We should've tried to score a TD and win the game instead of playing for the field goal.

We did! Brees missing that gimme throw to Thomas on 1st down would have sealed the game

It means when you get into the red zone 4 times and come away with 3 FGs you're going to make the game closer than it should be.

Failing to get 6 after Davis' int and then again after Ginn's catch was a massive failure.

I kinda agree OP. After the ginn reception it was time to burn the clock and timeouts. We gifted them that last drive. Zero blitz or not, run the ball. Give Goff 55 seconds (at worst case) to try to call plays and execute a drive in that environment.

You chucklefricks need to rewatch that last sequence.

Brees hits Thomas on that easy 1st down throw (brilliant play call) and our win percentage is over 95%.

We threw the ball a total of 7 yards on 2 pass attempts. He was trying for quick completions that would force LA to use their timeouts.

You’re wrong the play call was brilliant, simple throw for a big gain on first down . Horrible throw by the best QB to ever wear the uniform . And then they win it anyway after a PI ...........

Still doesn't answer what we are all supposed to do with the refs dick hanging out of our arse on that PI no call? Ref's dick might be short and skinny, but it is still in our arse.

I agree and know what y’all are saying but, having such a huge game absolutely decided on an obvious, I mean not even close is horrible. It doesn’t matter how bad the Saints handled that time or anything in the game before that pass , fact is if that call is made they can run clock down to nothing and win on kick. The Saints were robbed ! And for none of the refs to threw the flag tells me that it does t matter if the rams played had rape the receiver that call was never to be made!
