i think signing peat has always been the plan if they couldnt get one of the two LTs in the first round.

Fuaga might get tried at lt. He has been training there.

Peat was decent but not great. Plus you can't count on him

I'll say it again. Sign charles leno jr.

I don’t know see why Fuaga can’t play on the left side. His pass set is smooth. I think it has to be just bc of his arm length that he has been pinned at the RT but that isn’t an end all be all

I think they might try him there. Just so Many moving parts with ram,Hurst, and penning.

I would sign Peat and Becton and hope one of them works out. Is there an olineman we could trade lattimore for?

I'd sign peat for very cheap.

Becton is always hurt and hasn't proved much.

Yeah they could trade lattimore for a tackle. Teams don't really have extra starting tackles though.

I’d bring Peat back for the right price but I think one of Penning, Saldiveri and Landon Young ends up being a starter.

the LT situation has so many moving parts right now. i'm just guessing that ram retires or becomes a post-june 1st cut. i have no idea if penning has made any progress and peat is available for prolly much less than his 13m cap hit would've been if we kept him.

peat, saldiveri, mccoy, ruiz and fugua doesn't sound like a bad oline at all. still have 5 picks today.

i'm no expert, but fugua does look like he could play LT. i just think there are one or two LTs in this draft that could be better THIS year than peat.

peat got railroaded with the move to guard. he's to damn long for one thing. was also 5star/allworld/allamerican LT in high school and college. pac12 olineman of the year too. it's not an accident that it only took a few games for him to acclimate to LT and be solid. was better as the season progressed.

If he’s rally a RT like most think you should keep him there.

His development is more important than this year.

Our LT will look a lot like last year. Hurst or maybe Peat or someone like Peat.

It will be a major weakness.

peat wasn't a major weakness. i know we want something more out of LT, but he's prolly our best bet this year. he's not bad. would also help him to know he's going to play LT before the season starts.

Hurst retired.

Peat is my guess. Anyone know how to get his PFF rating at LT only?

Hopefully they don’t sign anyone expensive and let Carr get sacked more than his brother’s rookie year. That way Dennis Allen and Carr can both be gone sooner than later.

Saints need a real rebuild.
