45:6. Enough said.
Both threw interceptions. As an example from recent history, Brett Favre threw less interceptions than Manning or Brees in 2009. Did he win the MVP?

He also leads the nfl in losses to the rams.

Rodgers has 10 total turnovers and Drew has 13.
Rodgers has 6 turnovers.

Look up his fumbles lost. That doesn't get calculated in passer rating for a good reason, but a lost fumble is still a turnover.

he didnt lose any fumbles

Anyway, why is Td to Int ratio the only criteria. Because thats the only one Rodgers is leading in?

If you wanna know the real, best numbers to rate a QB on, there's 3:
TD%
INT%
Yards per attempt

How about the fact the Flynn kills it as a starter. Doesnt that diminish the value of Rodgers.?
Posted on 1/1/12 at 3:41 pm to SPEEDY
More INTs than Rodgers.
Get over it.
Get over it.

Because you are picking which criteria to use. Youre just making it up? Favre should have won it in 2009 if it was because of that.

Exactly.
Flynn now has 6 TD's in the game. Even a backup in GB's offense can put up great numbers.
All these supposed Saints fans sucking Rodgers dick can frick off. No one has had a year like Brees in the history of the NFL.

Youre just making it up?
quote:No, because the 3 criteria I posted that were the best indicators, Favre led in only 1 of them I am fairly certain.
Favre should have won it in 2009 if it was because of that.

Not only that, but Flynn led that team to a win against a playoff team. That should not be overlooked, but it will.
Posted on 1/1/12 at 3:47 pm to LSUFreek
The long and short of it is that Rodgers was crowned in like week 5. As long as he didnt lose the award from then on it was his. No one could win it, no matter what they did. This has been proved seeing as how Brees has done EVERYTHING.

The more INTs thing is such a bad argument, but the only one the Rodgers supporters have.
Posted on 1/1/12 at 3:49 pm to Cam71090
This is absolutely true. We forget how powerful the media is. Brees just had one of the greatest seasons a quarterback has ever had in the history of the NFL. From the historical context, his 2011 season will be talked about much longer than the one Rodgers had even if Brees does not win the MVP. The fact that he will not win the MVP is absolutely pathetic once historical context is considered.

See now you are just trying to get a rise out of people. I was clearly saying that you are making up the criteria, not the stats.
