Not a good look at all for Loomis and company. And I’ll keep beating this dead horse but passing on Branch for Fosky looks even worse with Yiadom leaving.

Definitely can’t trade Lattimore now. With Branch in the slot, and our other two corners playing their natural positions on the outside, would have been an easy trade to make.

Not to say I told yall but…

1 year 13M isnt that much anymore. It's not 2006. Same deal Davenport got last year.

Are you suggesting that they should continue to ride with what appears to be bad decisions. That type of digging your heels in instead of admitting your mistakes is what led to the 5th year option for Davenport and allowed Hendrickson to walk.

Foskey still has a chance to be a player. Turner can be cut or moved

For a guy with 2 sacks playing opposite of Bosa. It’s horrible!!

$13m makes him a top 5 highest paid guy on the team for ‘24. For a team with lots of holes, no money, who is “trying to compete”?

And we cannot treat Turner and Foskey as sunk costs, given they are taking up roster and cap space.

Meh. I don't think those two are contributing significantly to our cap issues. The Saints keep them despite limited play because they are cheap, not because they are "sunk costs".

Turner could have just months left here and Foskey the same if he can't find playing time.

I think you misunderstood. I didnt say they were significant impacts to cap space. The point is as long as they are on the team, there is an expectation from them to do something being as so they are top 40 picks taking up finite resources. You have no money to spend and it costs more to get rid of them than to keep them.

You only have 5 DEs who will cost you $40mil in 2024, one is Cam Jordan and one has a neck. Turner and Foskey need to have a pulse

Plus, he's only 24. He has elite talent and considering the market for DEs, it could be a great move.

Granderson will make Young better. Cam is a pro's pro and will help Chase.

I think 10 sacks is a possibility. Plus, he's physically better than most OTs.

Again, he's 24 not 34.

Don’t forget letting Hendrickson walk too…this organization is a joke from top to bottom. Won’t be getting a dime from me this season.

You are right. If you include Davenport, that’s three first round picks and a top 40 pick in Fosky at the defensive end position, on top of the 13 million this year for Chase and let the best of all of them walk for absolutely nothing. Can’t make this shite up lol.

A shite ton of resources have been blown up to be this wrong.

I don’t recall too many negatives about Fosky. Nothing but great reviews. He could turn it around. But we were signing people off the street to play ahead of him. Turner I’ll give, universally called a reach by everyone.
