Disgruntled QB with above average talent and likely to be traded, if not this year, then next.

Would cost half of what Watson does, and is (at minimum) an equal talent as Winston, with more longevity.

Why? Because of his price tag? Murray is an elite talent who could have won MVP last season on a decent team. Look at his coach lmfao.

It's a safer play than trading for Baker or Garropolo and its definitely got more upside than starting Hill.

The question is, is signing Winston and hoping his knee heals fully a safer plan?

I dont see Kyler available until next offseason tbh. Roll with Winston if we miss on Watson. I would LOVE to see the saints chase kyler tho. Especially in free agency. Offer the man a 7 or 8 year deal. Be risky.

Then you keep Winston, who is taller and isn’t a system quarterback. Plus Winston proved he can play without elite receivers…Murray cannot.

That offense fell apart when Hopkins was hurt. Murray looked mediocre at best without their best WR.

And a garbage OL and play caller. Put him on a decent team

So you admit he’s nothing special. At least Winston went 5-2 without his best receiver and a weak OL. Murray was 3-5 without his top WR. And that was in a system he knows back to front. Imagine how he’d look in an actual NFL offense.

He is definitely something special lmfao. Stop it bro.

Eta: that was in a system that won 4 games in one full college season. He’s not in the right spot. Kyler is an elite talent.

It was the same system he ran at Oklahoma under Riley. The Air Raid is the Air Raid, no matter who the coach is.

Nearly 4k yards 70% completion percentage 8 yards per attempt 12 yards per completion and he’s been sacked 30 times every season in his career. Just tell me that you’re a fricking casual.
