Serious Saints Season Ticket Question

So I tried to purchase season tickets the 2006 season the Saints returned after Katrina and I waited just to late and they sold out. So, I put my name one the waiting list right at the beginning of the season. Since then the only email regarding tickets I have even received was this past summer for:
"As a valued member of our Waiting List, the New Orleans Saints would like to inform you that your chance to purchase Saints season tickets has arrived!!!
Today we have a limited availability in our Club Sideline seating areas between the goal line and 20 yard line on each side of the field. Tickets are $2,150 per seat for all 10 home games. Orders will be taken on a first come, first serve basis.
Now that the 2009 schedule has been released, don't miss this extraordinary opportunity to catch ten action-packed home games, including two on Monday Night!
To order your tickets today, please contact Travis Burkett, Ticket Sales Manager,"
Just wondering if I should have heard something by now since it been well over 3 years since I put name on waiting list, or are other people still waiting from this period of time. Not sure if it matters but when I put name on waiting list was only looking for 2 tickets.

you should call the ticket office and ask them what's up.

Think I will go ahead and call, just wanted to find out if this was normal, and if other people have been waiting this long, before I call and realize everyone is still waiting from this time period

I've heard of people offered tickets (other than club tickets) off the waiting list. You need to call to make sure you arent being passed over.

Well thanks for input, that all I mainly needed to know, will go ahead and call tomorrow. Also, do you know by chance if there anyway online to see where you are on waiting list or can you only find that out from sales office.

Uhhh...it looks to me like that was your name coming up on the list.

I dunno... I'm a season ticket holder already, so my situation is different, but it seems like I'm constantly offered club level tickets to upgrade to. Pretty much every offseason.

You put your name on the waiting list for season tickets, then you were offered season tickets, right? You didn't think about calling when you got the e-mail to see if cheaper seats were available?

How much are club level tickets between the 30s? The same as what's in the e-mail above? I remember paying $350+ for them in 1991.

I'm on the list too and I was offered club level seats this year also. They called me and I declined but chose to remain on the waiting list so I should be one of the first to be called next year. I may have to shell out the cash for what I can get next year, but hopefully they'll offer me something in my price range.

I had a similar scenario. I signed up in 06 and got a call in 07. The tickets were in the same section but on different rows, so I asked if I decline will my seat on the list hold. They said it would.
Fast forward to today, I called to ask if my position held, but it apparently it did not. Luckily I signed my dad up too so I still have a good shot at next year.
My point is, if you declined the first time, chances are, you've been passed up.
