I see where Billy Turner is listed as a disappointment.

I watched him some at their practice on Tuesday and thought he did pretty good. He pancaked Will Sutton but I guess Sutton didn't exactly have a good week so...

none of the QBs did much. I guess Carr from Fresno State did okay but no one else created any kind of buzz.

Aaron Murray was here doing plenty of interviews from what I heard.

buzz I see building on this class is that the QBs are all pretty BLAH. Scouts comparing to 2011 with no Cam Newton. That would be-
Jake Locker
Blaine Gabbert
Ponder
Dalton
Kaepernick
Mallett...

Russell Wilson was in that one too.

I guess why I'm interested in the QB's this year is due to the idea of how certain players could slide in the draft.

you know a few teams need a QB.

I'm hoping for a mad dash on QBs like in 2011 so a player like a Cam Jordan can fall to us again.

Russell Wilson actually looked good when he was at the Senior Bowl a few years ago I thought. For a smaller guy, he has an underrated arm and is deadly accurate at times.

About Stanley Jean-Baptiste. I said a few days ago:

quote:

Stanley Jean-Baptiste (6-foot-2 3/8, 215) CB, Nebraska is the player that has me the the most intrigued. I haven't seen much film of him yet but I would love to have a big corner in the Seattle mold. I think every team needs a player like that to cover the big receivers and the WR/TE's like Graham, Gronk and Davis. If the Saints could grab him in the 4th RD that would be great but I think he goes in the 3rd RD.

I now think that he is going to shoot up draft boards. I believe the Saints have to grab him in the 2nd for any chance at him but I'm starting to think he won't be there that late. Has the potential to be a huge impact on this team especially with all the big athletic TE's and WR's.
