This parallels 2011. LSU goes to bama undefeated and #1. Saints main comp was 49ers and GB

5 out of 8 remaining games are within the division, and division games are usually more difficult than records suggest.

December date in Nashville won’t be easy, and the Colts are a decent team. SF is obviously a challenge.

The remaining schedule is not necessarily any easier than the first half of the year.

I’d take this half of the schedule over the first half.

I still think we drop a game somewhere. Either @Tampa or @Atlanta or @Tennesee seems most likely to me. Though I do think San Fran will be our toughest remaining game, I think we win convincingly like the Rams game last year. Colts are good but not I’m not exactly afraid of them.

I’m more worried about the two away division games. Especially @Tampa. We struggle there for some reason. It’s going to be stressful but I think 14-2 can still happen. We just need to make it through Atlanta, @Tampa, Carolina and @Atlanta without taking a loss. If we do that, there’s no question we finish 14-2.

I'd be curious to see how SF performs against a team with a stout running game. What happens to their offense when Jimmy G has to win the game. I see Indy as the most balanced team left on the schedule.

@Tenn & @Car are 2 games that could be interesting because the weather is a great equalizer. I don't believe in the "Saints don't play well in cold weather" narrative, I just know weird shite can happen in cold or wet elements.

Spoiler Alert! The Saints don't lose again until the back half of 2020. For serious.

Remainder of schedule looks considerably easier.

Toughest games:

First half of season: Texans, Rams, Seahawks, Cowboys, Jaguars

Second half of season: 49ers, Colts.
Titans and the divisional games shouldn’t be considered tough games to win.

Or how they’d fare against a top 10 D against the run

It wasn't. Undefeated Pats Super Bowl loss was 2007 season

@Carolina is the last game of the year, if we have nothing left to play for I don't see Sean pushing to play the starters just because he lost to Carolina earlier in the year

I think Titans away is toughest game remaining. Nashville at Christmas could be snowing.
