I am looking forward to the San Diego trip regardless of our record. I know Drew wants to win there so much. I sure hope his teammates feel the same.

I bailed on this trip.
You must eat at Mariscos El Pescador taco truck in Chula Vista. It looks like a rundown Mexican gas station but they have the best tacos you will ever eat.
Enjoy the weather, San Diego is beautiful and flies a bit under the radar.

I landed about 2 hours ago. Buddies are on their way. Staying in Gaslamp, Padres game tonight, zoo tomorrow day, winging it tomorrow night, LSU and college football Saturday, Nobu for dinner Saturday night. Drinking all the beers during this time

Which breweries are you guys planning on hitting up? I'd imagine most of you are staying downtown, I'd take a quick uber to the mirmar area they're some good ones in that area.

I'm actually in-between Misson valley and Mission Hills to be closer to the stadium for game day.
We're bout to gas lamp and then PetCo now.
I like Stone and heard its one of the nicest built breweries out here so thats a definite. We also got groupons to Novo Brazil and Mission. I've heard good things about Modern Times I'd like to try.

I do not recommend you go to TJ. You may not come back. Remember it is a Mexican border town that is crime filled & run by the drug cartels. If you want to go to mexico, go to a resort in Cancun, Puerta Vallerta etc. Even the resorts can be a bit risky. Just my 2 cents.

Balboa park is right next to the zoo, if you could spare an hour or so you should go there before or after you go to the zoo.

Haha. We ran into a cool chick at PetCo who is stationed out here by way of Nola whose name is, get this, Tijuanna. I shite you not. She was talking up Kristy's MVP and the BR flood drive. We'll be there fa sho come LSU vs Miz. I'll be the one asking to get my arse paddled.
After the game we ended up at Moonshine Flats. Got damn they had some tail line dancing up in there. Ended up finishing the night at Half door brewery. Pretty good night.
