Report: New Orleans #Saints working to re-sign running back Tim Hightower

He did well done the stretch and ran hard. A feel-good story about not giving up.

Good. Well deserved by him, and having a solid backup is a must

He did great, don't get me wrong. But we can't let him walk and keep K-Rob? More upside to keeping Khiry.

Edit: I meant "can't we let him walk, and keep K-rob? I just like having a younger RB with lots of tread on the tires.

He was awesome against JAX. I had front row seats in 116. Awesome game.

I believe they will each come at drastically different prices. Besides, if I were Khiry I would want to test the market to see if I can go somewhere to at least be considered for the feature back position. Here ,he will be a 3rd option at best.

Depends on the mental recovery from his leg injury.

Sucks if Khiry is gone, but there really isn't anybody better at this juncture to replace him than Hightower. He really showed off what he can do when given the opportunity the last half of the season. Wasn't the best YPC average, but it helped a bunch in some of the latter games last season to actually have a run threat near the end of the game. Him, Ingram, Spiller(hopefully returning to his Buffalo form), and Murphy are a nasty combo.
